OSCE -ITP

  • 2  yr old child presents with  petechiae  of lower limb and oral mucosal lesions. her platelet count is 38,000/mm3. He has no lymphnode enlargement or hepatospenomegaly. He is not on medications and not taken any vaccine in the recent past. he is now on follow up. his count is 80,000 after one week

 

  • Is it remission?
  • Is it response?
  • His platelet count increased to 1,04,000 mm3 on day 12 .how do you define his clinical status?
  • At one month his count is 80,000/mm3 and has epistaxis. what is his clinical status?
  • His count drops furthur to 25,000.mm3 in next 4 days. what is your inference?
